The Tesla body is carbon fibre (apart from the bumper). So I guess it's much lighter than an Elise. What would a Tesla with a bike engine weigh?

erm, the telsa is over £100,000 - if you want a carbon fibre bodied car with a powerful engine there are a few available at that price..

Depends ? are we talking 50cc moped, 1100cc Jap bike or something like the 2300cc Triumph tripple ? More to the point... why ?
