elise S2 Hardtop problem

Hi all

I have a problem and could do with some help with.

Having removed the hardtop from my S2 earlier in the year in preparation for the "summer" - I inadvertantly attached the front drivers side bracket upside down. Now normally this wouldn't be an issue as I would have simply removed the bolt and bracket while re-fitting the roof.

However - the bolt is stuck and will not come out. It appears that the thread right at the end of the bolt has been damaged - therefore I can't get the bloody thing out or fit the roof!

anyone know of any way to remove the bolt without damaging the roof?

I have a similar problem (thread stripped on f/r mounting)
so have to remove the roof with the brkt still in the roof on and fixed & fitted position

that would be fine for me - if only I hadn't fitted the bracket upside down for storage!
