Just seen the Evora at jct600 and despite my initial views on the car(prior to viewing) being somewhat derisory, I came away totally blown away.Lotus have produced a fantastic looking 2+2 that feels like a very high quality product.
I was very grateful to Steve Crijins from Lotus who took a lot of time to hear my views and explain his vision of what Lotus cars should be like ( both visually and from a driving point of view).
I must also say it was great to know that he shares my absolute passion for the Lotus marque.
If the car drives anywhere near as good as it looks then Lotus are on to a winner.

Is this some kind of roadshow going around the dealers ie can I expect it near me? Met Steve Crijns a couple of times too, he's a super nice chap and as you say a total Lotus man.

The Motor Show car is on a UK dealer tour at the moment - I went over to Murray Motors in Edinburgh on Monday evening and spent an hour or two in the company of Roger Becker and Steve Crijns. As already mentioned, their entusiasm for the car and Lotus in general is amazing.

There's a new Forum opened up at www.evoraforum.com from the guys who brought you the Lotus Esprit Forum. Some good reports appearing there, including mine.
