If, like me, you are interested in the business side of things and 'Silicon Valley Start-Ups' in particular, Fortune have published a fascinating piece about how the company was founded, how the founder was ousted, why the project was delayed several times (and how it turned out more expensive!) and all the technical challenges. There isn't that much 'car stuff' but the business and personalities described make fascinating reading.

There's a nice interactive piece which shows where the challenges/changes lay.

Happily, Lotus gets a favourable mention as "Lotus made fast, light cars and also had the virtue of being the only sports car manufacturer that would give Tesla management the time of day". Well done Kimberley and Co. I really hope this works out.
