Local news in Suffolk is reporting the death of a 21 year old Lotus driver called James Dunkley from the Staffordshire area - after a head on crash on the A1065 at Wangford.

News like this always gives me pause for thought.

Was in the area that day and had to phone the parents when the radio announced an accident involving a Lotus to reassure them all was ok.

That is terrible - wasn't until today I knew the full details - some serious errors have been made with fatal results. If it was a relative of mine I would have reported him to the police and the authorities.

My Dad is 80 next year - still got all his marbles but almost totally deaf - he has decided to give up driving even though the Dr says he is still fine to drive and he hasn't had an accident for decades. Hard decision to make.
