Elise Sport 160 or save up for Exige S??

Is it worth me buying a cheaper Elise Sport 160 and making my way up to an Exige S or just saving up and buying a full on Exige S with performance package??

get a Sport 160 and start enjoying it ASAP...summer is here ...an Exige S can wait and in reality dosent really offer any more pure enjoyment of driving IMO ...any Elise derivative is pure fun...they just vary between road use and track use...how hardcore/raw they are and how fast they are in a straight line...thats about it really

There appears to be one or two very nice Sport 160's in the PH classifieds currently.

Hugely exciting and rewarding cars to drive. Mine fits the bill perfectly for me as a second fun car. Enough power for the public road.

Consider the S1 Sport 160 is some 200kg lighter than the S2 Exige S too.

As a second car, i'd choose the Sport 160.

I went from S1 standard Exige to Sport 160 and never looked back...had 8 Lotus and the Sport 160 was probably the most fun.
