Does the Elise suffer from the above problem? Reason I ask is because many of us VX220 owners have or do have bubbling in the paintwork due to moisture being trapped in the fibreglass (not baked for long enough). I'm currently going through a warranty claim regarding mine.

Just interested to see if it was related to both twins smile

i think you'll find that the VX panels were moulded in france, not by Lotus. I believe the micro blistering issue is a vx one.... however this may all be gibberish, its been a long day..... good luck with the claim

It certainly IS a problem with the Elise too. Mine's been back twice under warranty with this issue and if you do a bit of searching on here and SELOC then you'll find quite a few posts about the subject.

IF YOU NEED PROFESSIONAL ADVICE REGARDING THIS PLEASE CONTACT ME, ILL WRITE YOU A LETTER OF RECOMMENDATION FOR THE INSURANCE COMPANY IF YOU LIKE!

THEIR IS WAYS AROUND THIS THAT DON'T COST THE EARTH.

BUT IF THEY HAVE TRIED ONCE AND JUST USED FILLER TO COVER THE PIN HOLE THEN THE GUYS WORKING ON YOUR CAR ARE NOT REPAIRING IT AS THEY SHOULD!
