'cmon, that wasn't very helpful!

If you mean a REAL Lotus 7 spaceframe, as in for an original Lotus 7, then you probably need to talk to a company called Arch Motors in London, who built the originals and still rebuild and repair the frames today.

If you mean a Lotus 7 style replica, then there are lots to choose from. You could start by doing a few web searches on the 'Locost', which is an inexpensive version designed for home build. I believe they will sell you plans to make your own frame if you want to.

For some other suggestions, try the 'Kit Cars' section.

thanks for your answers
the spaceframe I'd like to build is not a real seven
I've phoned to caterham and the spaceframe is really expensive
so I went to locost and I find what I need
I've order the book and cd
I think locost is in the spirit of the seven at the beginning, an self made car for handyman and not expensive. that's this way I think
the seven is now like a porsche , an superb sport car with performance big engine, big wheels, but I haven't got the big wallet
so thanks again to everybody, I ve received mail from all the world
it's always a pleasure to write with other peoples
