They do acknowledge it is based on a Lotus Exige chassis so why not use a modified Exige body? If it works out that the chassis can take 1000bhp, Lotus would be well pleased with the publicity!

Mmmm, I think they should have started again with the chassis for that sort of output, are they just trading on the name. The dynamics of the car will be completely different.
