Modified Ecxel - advice please

Have been noticing this

for sale for some time and price has now come down significantly. Does anyone know the car?

Also, does anyone have any experience of Lotus engines with these sorts of mods? I assume that it's a potential 'open wallet' job for maintenance...

Scary - it's been mentioned a few times on lotusexcel.net - but no-one's gone for it yet.

The nitrous system would be a liability IMHO and if it's been lowered from standard then I can't see it being very useable on the public roads.

Agreed on the lowered front - mine catches speed bumps and bottoms out on rural roads.
