Is this the one and only road car? I remember reading about it in EVO, and I'm sure it said there's just one of the roadcars in existance. It's all black now though.
Also, did the guy who woned it ever go for the top speed run he was on about? I'm sure it'd have been immensely quick with the turbos on full boost. Seemed a nice car.

AFAIK only one GT1 was built by Lotus themselves. A second road car was put together from Lotus parts at a later date. This is the yellow car. some more info here:

But how do you know?

If I had nothing better to do, I'd phone up all traders who put "POA" and ask how much the car is, then reply, "Oh, dear, I can't afford that. How about $10,000 and 2 camels?" in a strong arabic accent.
