Who can help me with the name of a Lotus dealer which was
in Broadstreet, Birmingham in the Seventies/Eighties?

WAs it Ryland? They were a vauxhall dealer too -- I bought my Excel from them in mid 90s.

Ryland Lotus were on Summerhill Terrace, just round the corner from Broad Street. They DID do Vauxhall as well. I had my Excel repaired there (more than once )!
They only tore down the old Lotus signs about 6 months ago although the place had been closed about 5 years!!

yes folks Ryland Lotus resided in Summer Hill Birmingham before the Franchise was sold to Nick Whale Group in Jan 2000. Several of the staff from Ryland moved with the franchise.
