Looking very nice so far (brings back a few memories). Do you intend to rebuild the original engine, or modernise it?

Hi Mark
So i`m told its a GT shell converted to Lotus similar to how they did it from new but the owner has an original Factory one also plus many other Retro cars the lugger bugger!

a lad who lives near to me has a mk1 tina GT with a fiat or lancia twink in it on dcoe's, stripped out and caged, its a little scruffy round the edges but no rot, it sounds awsome and goes like stink!! I put a fiat 132 lump in a mk1 capri in my youth, but some toad half inched it before I got it running grumpy

good luck with the project and keep us up dated

I have an original 1960's Alan Mann liveried Cortina at home. Unfortunately it's a Scalextric car.
