Bit of a general enquiry here.

A friend has been nattering about buying a brand new Lotus Exige, and for whatever reason would want to use the finance that Lotus themselves offer. Does anyone have any idea what kind of monthly payments he can expect? He would want to buy the car on a PCP plan, i.e. a deposit, monthly payments, and then a balloon payment at the end (or the option to return/swap the car). I think he has around £5k as a deposit.

I think he's expecting the payments to be around £500 a month, but he wants to know if this is realistic before he goes ahead and test-drives one.

Any help at all would be passed on and, I'm sure, appreciated.

A £32,000 Exige S with a 5K deposit works out at about £420 a month.
Formula 1 Lotus 3.9% flat....
