An 2005 S2 Exige to do a 3000 miles in 5 days European run. Would it be reliable & comfortable enough.(It has got Air Con). I know a Monaro or M5 would be more comfortable but I really dont like those sorts of cars.

You're views please.

Reliability should not be an issue, assuming it's been looked after and serviced properly.
Comfort - I regularly drive my Elise several hundred miles on business, my new 111R is much more comfortable than my previous 111S, due to it being better screwed together so it doesn't rattle and the Probax seats having a degree of cushioning.

A 2005 Exige will have the build quality, but not the Probax seats. Most Exige owners seem to go for AC, so I guess it will get a bit warm in there without. I simply take the roof of the Elise when it's hot.

To sum up, the car won't be a problem, driver comfort is something only you can assess.

Hope this is helpful

No Purdy, I was looking/still am looking at Exige's (That's Exige's not Exige S's!!!). I was a bit unsure of what was what at first i.e: Exiges, s2Exige, 240cup etc but now I no what I'd like.....& can afford (Not an ExigeS ). I'm still asking questions about reliability, performance, comfort etc coz it's alot of money & I want to get things right.

I have owned various '7'esque cars in the past but now need something a bit more sturdy!
