Lotus 47 values

I'm posting on behalf of a friend who currently pedals a Banks 47 Europa but fancies making the (quite considerable) step up to a genuine 47. I'm struggling though to find any recent auction / classified prices to give him as a guide. Anyone got any thoughts ?

I was chatting to the owners of the 3 cars (and trying them for size) at Donington this year, apparently along with 26Rs values have gone skyward in the last year, according to Chris Beardsmore website - who has taken a similar route - there is a 47 for sale in Europe at the moment, it's a Project and under offer at €120K - I needed to sit down after hearing that and realised I'd have to settle on my Twincam

Looks like my finger in the air estimate of £80k - £100k was ballpark. I'm not surprised though given their potential eligibility for some of the more prestigous race meetings around the world.

I was just idly browsing and found this car for sale in Japan. But it is POA so it doesn't help you with price I'm afraid.
