Bit of a nightmare this is...

The elan - I don't like it. No excuse, apart from my legs being a bit toooo long. I thought I would try it and coming from tvr's I guess I'm not used to good roadholding, turbo's and being well built. I just can't get used to it, and find I would rather drive my old bmw than it, which clearly isn't right at all.....but indicative of a snag.

Plus I've put a fair amount of money into it since I've bought it.

Anyone want a little sparkler with LOADS of money spent on it?

I'll pop it on classifieds when I get round to it - but the pictures are still on from when I bought it (red one with lights up sold for £4950).

banghead

And please feel free to abuse me, but if anyone has something they want to swap with it feel free to give it a whirl.....

Phil, you did, but, I've tried it, and if it doesn't sell I'll keep it. It should do though.

Mike....Do you have your own personal assistant at DVLA? cos ya should have by now with the amount of cars you go through. Kinda makes it difficult to keep an eye out for you on the hundred

Thought you might have done, but there's always the chance you're deep in thought about your next car

What's it going to be this time? Ratty 3000S? Interceptor? Scimitar? Eclat? Lifted jeep with snorkel? Hearse with a Chevy small block? Trans-Am? American ocean-liner saloon? Quattro?

There's one of Keith Murray's (he wot races at Combe in the A4) Sport Quattros in the classifieds for £16k. thumbup

Damn. So you have now gone from being a missed-opportunity purchaser to a competitor in selling an Elan.

Bugger.

Not that we've got round to prepping ours for sale after its winter layup, mind. Now is the time to be advertising so I must do that.

944 turbo. Again. Great little hooners they are. Also loads of legroom. Look out for a black one on the hundreds heading inbound towards portishead...
