Black Wonder Wheels

Is wonder wheels safe to use on the black wheels on a s2 elise????????? anyone.

Probably safe to use on the wheels, but if you have a later S2 (April 2002 IIRC) then the brake disc hubs have an anti-rust coating on them and it will remove this and the hubs will be rusty as hell forever after. I made this mistake with mine...just waiting to get some new discs now then will stick to soap/water. Once youve got them clean, you can get some alloy wheel protector spray (by Turtlewax) from Halfords - spray this on then polish off when dry. The next time you come to clean the wheels the dust just wiptes off real easy.

Just got the car at weekend and noticed how corroded the disc hubs are. Its a 51 plate.
