That is mad for a Fat / Uglier and presume slower / porkier Elise.

£34.5K is this right (is there a V8 in there somewhere).

Are there many takers at that price, fatness, slowerness and ugliness - when is the next Proper Fast V8 Esprit replacement coming out?

It does seem a tad optimistic to price the cramped 4-cylinder 2 litre Europa right up against the established 6-cylinder sports cars from BMW (3 litre Z4) and Porsche (2.7 litre Boxster). Most alarming of all the Europa is £10,000 more expensive than the excellent base Elise, and only £6,000 cheaper than the V8 400 bhp C6 Corvettes which Stratstone have been selling.

In USA the Elise is priced right up against 400 bhp V8 Corvettes which is bonkers.
