Lotus Show at Donington - photos

Mrs T and me went up to Donington for the show today. Was pleasantly surprised to find it wasn't quite so damn cold as it was last year! Cracking turnout of Loti with some lovely older Elans and Elites amongst the usual plethora of Elises, Exiges and Esprits.

Well I went up on saturday as well, was quite a turn out had to que for ages, but it was worth the wait.
Had a early start to get up there, cruised down in the Scooby (my sunbeams in the garage getting new front 4pot calipers) so unfortunalty me and my son had to drive down in the impreza i was hoping to have it done before the show but no...

You got me, anyway.... fortunately not whilst I was pushing the Elan over into a parking space 'cos I'd run out of fuel just as I arrived!

Many thanks to the Good Samaritan with the Spyder Zetec Plus 2 who was kind enough to run me to Donington Services for a can of petrol, if you're reading!

mental note: when a Smith's fuel gauge reads 'empty', it really does mean empty!
