HVU 300F Where are you?

20 years ago I owned an early Lotus Elan - I think the reg number was HVU 300F.

It was originally orange gelcoat but had been resprayed old english white and was sold to a guy based near Garstang in Lancashire.

Does anyone have any idea where it is now?

I would be very interested in finding the car if it is still about.

Have you checked on the DVLA website to see if it's still taxed and roadworthy?

Other than that, I think you might have better luck posting on LotusElan.net or putting and advert in the Club Lotus magazine... relatively few Elan owners hang about on PistonHeads.

Apparently the Elan is still around Lancashire somewhere - apparently somewhere north of Preston...
