There is a limited edition lotus elise that i think lotus made around 50 of. I think they came in a silver-blue colour and had slightly more power than the original elise. Does anyone have any idea what I am talking about? Im looking to buy one if anyone knows of any for sale.

Thanks!

That sounds like the S1 Sport 135 in Quicksilver. A nice version of the S1. yes

I think that you are thinking of the Lotus Elise Sport 160, Lotus made 50 of these which were SVA (Single Vehicle Approved) The serial numbers of the first 50 range from SVA: VIN Y 00601 to 00650 I have 00625 Excellent car I love it! The K series engine is modified to produce ~160 bhp and is limited at 7200 rpm For a good description of this model visit www.elises.co.uk/models/sport160/index.html it's an excelent car....I wonder how many are still about? Note the WVTA (Whole Vehicle Type Approval) models did not have all the modifications that the first 50 had.....you had to pay extra for these so look carefull to see if the car has been upgraded to the original spec.or if it is an SVA model.
