Finding an old flame!!!

My dad was wondering if his old motor was still with us today, it was a 1972 lotus europa twin cam. The registration was MAB 300K... Most probably not possible to find out but if anyone is aware of the car, please contact me asap.

Have you checked with the DVLA etc? Probably the best route would be vehicle agencies, that way you could perhaps write to the keeper or determine if it was scrapped etc...

Be careful on this. My Mum saw a chap getting out of a car that our family had once owned and went over and introduced herself.

The chap proceeded to pour a torrent of abuse on her as to how unreliable it was and all the things that had gone wrong, and started trying to imply that he had some recourse on her even though there had been several owners between him and my parents.

Obviously he didn't have a leg to stand on and my mum just walked away, but it still left a somewhat sour taste in the mouth.
