Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I thought ElanTurbo and I* were the only Elan M100 owners on PistonHeads. How many do we actually have?

* I should note for the record that The Elan belongs to my wife, Cosmic, and she gets very upset if I imply that it is mine.

I've got a 90 SE Calypso Red, had it 4 days.

Do we need our own M100 gassing section? We almost certainly need mutual help and assistance !

As there seem to be a few Elan owners here, thought I would sign up and say hello. John bought my old SE for Cosmic last Summer when I changed to an S2, I trust all is well on that front John & Cosmic! Regarding the thread, I'm surprised that Douglas Valley are apparently running out, I visited there last summer - to fix up the old Elan before selling it to John At the time I recall they had more Elans than they realised (about 5, they stack em high). If anyone gets really desperate I know another owner who lives up that way and could probably be be persuaded to check things out. This place www.lodgesports.org.uk is also breaking an Elan at the moment. Actually I'm in need of a new set of main beam units and a set of the seat mounting spacers from an N/A or SE if anyone has any? Cheers

Hi Laurence! Took you a while to log onto PistonHeads then!

How's the S2 project going? It was in an "in need of attention" state when I last saw it. I hope its all ok now?

Anyway, welcome to PistonHeads.

If we can get enough Elan M100 owners together and have enough to talk about then PetrolTed will possibly create us our own forum.

Until then, keep the posts coming in "GENERAL LOTUS STUFF" with Elan M100 somewhere in the title until we get critical mass (so to speak). And don't forget to encourage other M100 owners to drop by too. The PistonHeads Gassing Station is a great way to exchange information and it would be good to get a thriving M100 area, but it will only happen if we get people talking about it here.

Cheers!
Jon

Hi Jon, S2 project very slow I'm afraid. Alarm fixed, Wheels re-furbed, new rear Speakers, Sub-Woofer & a Windstop added and that's it. Dump valve, MBC, Brake improvement & Paintwork and type 25 stripes still to be done. Currently playing around with a Roll Bar idea. Cheers Laurence

Hello, I'm an M100 Elan owner in the States. Av8ndoc (hmm I wonder who that could be ) is also here as well. Hands raised here for PetrolTed to give us a forum.
