Lotus Documentary?

A few years back, there was a documentary on Channel 4 i think, about Colin Chapman and Lotus. It catalogued all the racing side as well as the car side and also touched on the DeLorean scandal, it was very good and i did record it when it was on with the VHS, but then 'someone' taped over it with Friends!!!

Does anyone know where i can find this? Can anyone recommend a decent DVD version of the Lotus Story, there's one thats 4 parts, is that any good?

Always been fascinated by the great man and the stirling work the whole team did. I've been looking on Google and YouTube to no avail, only small snippets of clips.

The Channel 4 Documentary was called "The Real Colin Chapman", part of their version of BBC2's Reputations. It was an interesting documentary, although like Reputations, tended to focus a bit on the negative - that being the style at the time. I think I have it on VHS somewhere, it was part of a racing theme night on C4. Unfortunately, digging it out would be a bit of a nightmare, let alone finding a way of getting it on the web or making a copy...sorry...

Thats the one. They had a piece afterwards with a bunch of hacks talking about it if i remember correctly?

It was on a through the night programme thread called Petrolheads if I recall correctly. I have the whole night on a couple of S-VHS tapes somewhere.

I have the programme on tape, it was part of their 'Secret Lives'series. I could copy to DVD if you wish.
Email me if interested. When I recorded it, it was broadcast with 'Nine days in Summer', so that could be included.
