Wilwood conversion on Elan M100
Discussion
Have agreed to do the spannering for a chum who has acquired a lovely set of Wilwood radial mount calipers and rotors in a kit for an Elan. The kit seems very complete and has hoses etc but I did notice there was just one union or mating piece supplied (if needed, I would obviously have expected two) so just wondering if anyone who has gone this route ended up running some separate union between hoses and calipers (or hoses and main system) or whether the hoses were directly fitted?
Additionally, the mounting plates have a milled recess on one side each and I wonder whether these face inboard or outboard? I imagine they will be stiffer in one direction.
First time I've seen Wilwood stuff in the flesh and am impressed with the quality... fancy some for the Tiv, is it durable enough for year round use?
