A good friend who was 36 has been killed in his exige when it hit a tree and caught fire. He leaves behind a son 14 and daughter 12. All our thoughts should be with the families of the 2 killed in this very trumatic time. Thanks BC

Extremely sorry to read your very sad news and particularly for the 2 bereaved families.
No-one knows how to "deal with it" when faced with these tragic situations.
So don't be ashamed of yourself that you can't.

Very wise words.

I'm so sorry to hear your very very sad news.

One of my best friends died suddenly 3 years ago, leaving a 12 year old daughter and 2 young boys under 3 years old. In the case of my friend, she went to bed and didn't wake up (she was 32 years old). The shock is all consuming - complete disbelief mixed with an overwhelming sense of grief for myself that I'll never see or spend time with my friend again, and then an overwhelming sense of grief for the children, and right to feeling like I'm going to wake up and realise it was all a really bad dream.

Let yourself cry. Don't be ashamed. You've lost someone you obviously thought a lot of, and that death was sudden and unexpected. Let yourself grieve for your friend and for your loss.

Sorry to hear the bad news Big Cheese. Sage words from Mrs Trackside and really nice smiley.

Take care of yourself Big Cheese and try to keep talking about it rather than keep it inside.

Condolences, I'm sure everyones mind is with his family and yourself, just reassure yourself your friend died doing something he loved, and not in a hospital bed of some awful disease. And I'm sure he wouldnt want you to be sad, all you can do now is look after your friends family as best as possible.

My thoughts are with you, I lost a good friend in a motor bike accident 2 years ago last month. He left behind two sons at the time they were 13 & 15, what made it worse is that is was Fathers Day & also his son's 15th Birthday on the day he past.

It is tragic when a life is taken at such a young age & so suddenly, & it is the most difficult thing I have ever had to deal with. I know it wont seem like it at present, but in time the pain & upset will get easier to cope with. All I can say is just be there to support his family.
