The Lotus factory tour is very interesting. I did scare yourself sensible (complimentary from the dealer) and it was good fun.

I have done the Lotus Factory Tour and then got taken around the circuit by one of there drivers. It was great fun and the factory tour was great. i managed to start bugging him about the rumour of a new car (Europe) and also got told of for taking photo's of the Elise's going around the track in case they were running secret colours

Has anyone here done the Scare Yourself Sensible Package at Lotus??? I was thinking of booking one for my wife as I know she would love the factory tour and would love the circuit driving also. Just worried the circuit driving bit would be a bit naff. We did a rally day at Silverstone and she loved that to bits and did really well, going quicker than some other guys which pissed them off Just worried the driving part of the package might be a bit rubbish.

Factory tour is interesting and a mecca for Lotus owners.

It's a shame though that the cars are no longer fully built in the factory mainly with the body shells coming in from another country (France dare I say...)

The M100 was one of the last to be made in house.

However that is the way manufacture is going and helps keep prices competetive so can't grumble.

There are some really knowledgeable workers there who are great to talk to!

Well worth the visit. Also worth taking a blip around some of the local roads too!

Yeah i did the factory tour through work and i also found it facinating. Would certainly go back again and again. Just wondering what the test track part is like.
