The electric cooling fans are prone to seizing, due to the fact that they are ideally placed for water to drip down on them through the horizontal radiator, but assuming the fan is working in correctly, you should have no problems.

The temperature will rise to over 100 in traffic (pressurised system, so it won't boil until over 120), but the fan will then cut in and pull the temperature back down, as it is designed to do.

I've never had any problems, and I've been stuck in jams in some fairly fierce heat queuing in and out of major events.

Sat in the blazing sun for about 90 mins on the weekend and didnt get the temp over 84. The gear change became a little difficult and the stack misted up? oh yes and my forhead got burnt.
