Hi i've just passed my driving test and got myself a elise S1, but since driving it i've had really bad back pains in my lower back! I've put a big pillow on the seat which helps a bit. But was wondering if anyone has had this and if there was away to modify the seats to make it better. I don't wanna sell the car i love. Can anyone give me some advice on what to do? Please!!!!

Cheapest option would be to get hold of a seat out of an S1 111S or S2 - both have more padding than the standard S1 seat.

Other than that, you could try Corbeaus or a custom retrim.

edited to add: I assume you have tried playing around with the pressure of the lumbar support cushion? Mine always made my back as sore as hell if it was over-inflated...

Lotus retrim S1 seats to 111S spec for a very reasonable price (about £120 IIRC)
