Mike Kimberley rejoins Lotus

Can't find this posted anywhere on PH, but saw in today's Autocar that Mike Kimberley has become CEO of Lotus again.
If I recall, he held this position before in the 80's before leaving to become boss of Lamborghini when it was owned my Megatech, an Indonesian company, in between the Chrysler and Audi years.

They do get through 'em at the top level at Lotus, don't they?

80's were far from lotus's hey day, and less said about what happened at Lambo the better!
Quite the contrary, its when they enjoyed their biggest success sales wise. Mike Kimberley was at Lotus in Chapman's reign and has an Engineering background. Hopefully he'll put things back on track, these things tend to go full circle in this industry.

Well he kept it going, that must have been a good thing. Most of these positions are extremely difficult with the budgets they have to work with.
