time for an upgrade!!!

Hi, this is my virgin flight on piston heads........ so break me in real gentle!!

It's time to look at some upgrades for my little 111, it's already got the 'rice burner' intake, 52mm throttle body and sports exhaust, so now i'm looking at adding 4-2-1 stainless manifold and also change the suspension!?

There are so many replacement parts out there, and i hear different things from different people....... some say, 'ooh get a big bore manifold for increased power', others say actually you will loose power with a 'big bore' and actually need to have a slightly smaller bore.......... ahhhhhh!! has any one had any personal experience manifolds/suspensions please help!

manifold - i want a little more power and a deeper engine note.

suspension - i want her to sit a little and be a fair bit stiffer (fully adjustable preferably)

my car is a stunning elise 111s mk1 (2000 plate, hope you can help!
