lotus eclat made for geoff crafford
Discussion
Hello,
I searched my surname on google and came across your question. The answer to your question is Geoff Crafford is my father, he died nearly 10 years ago. The yellow Eclat was his, he owned it for about 10 years prior. The engine was rebuilt for him at some stage by a specialist firm. My dad was not famous, but he succesfully raised myself, my two brothers and my sister single-handed, and did a very good job of it. I am intersted to know where you got the car from, and if it still has the same number plate?? We lost track of the car, as a friend of my brothers took it from us to refurbish, we couldn't afford to pay him, therefore it was sold on.
I hope you're enjoying the car.
Regards

Hi I’m Geoff’s son hope you are enjoying the car ... as you may have realised that car is really apeacail to us as a family ans if yo ever want to sell please would you consider giving us first refusal .. our dad was a very special man who went through iit all he loved his cars and to have that little bit of him back with us would mean everything. .. hopefully this is received in the kindest faith that it is sent .. to add it was the kindest gift to send the steering wheel to my brother and if you don’t decide to sell we understand and are happy knowing that the car is loved and in safe hands ... and has gone on a great adventure across Europe, and perhaps my dad followed
