5.7 Chevy powered Esprit!

Just stumbled on this old post on the PH Lotus forum :

Does anyone know of an Esprit that has a 5.7 Chevy lump in it? A friend of mine was wasted by an Esprit at Le Mans this year and was told by another Esprit driver that one has this engine. It had "Black Rat Racing" on the car, and he is curious as to the exact spec." Posted by jedi71
It would have been one of two cars. If it was pink, then it would have been our mate "Grinner" - 3.5litre Rover twin turbo. If it was green it was "Toad" S4 Lotus V8. Niether are Chevy powered, sorry Jedi.
