Annual Lotus show kicks off

Donington sees action next month

Don't forget the that the 20th Annual Lotus Show and Festival takes place at Donington Park next month. Organised by Club Lotus, this is the largest Lotus show in the country and regularly attracts over 10,000 enthusiasts over the weekend. The event will run over the weekend of the 18th and 19th March.

Hundreds of Lotus cars - road and race - reflecting the great history and heritage of Lotus will be displayed both inside the hall and on the club stands outside. There will also be live technical sessions and seminars, archive films, Lotus clubs and a car sales area. Specialist Lotus trade stands selling everything from new cars to parts and accessories plus a large autojumble means there is something for everyone.

Discounted adult tickets (£7.50 instead of £8.50 on the day) are available from Club Lotus now.

When: Sat 19 and Sun 19 March 2006, Sat - 10.00 to 4.30, Sun - 10.00 to 4.00

Where: Donington Park Exhibition Centre, Castle Donington, Nr Derby

Price: Adults £8.50 (£7.50 in advance), OAP/Child £3.50, Family (2 adults & up to 4 children) £24.00

Thats funny, all I've ever seen is a big shed full of rusty junk!;-) As ever, the car(park) is the star.

been twice - went in the first time, but not much to see, certainly not 8 quids worth (16 with the mrs - no way) - last time, car park only, this time probably the same - any west midlands runs planned to get over there?
