S2 Elise ECU

My S2 Elise has just returned from her winter spruce up at Hallmark in Stourbridge(excellent place by the way, can't recommend the outfit highly enough) and I have the bug to do some mods in readiness for warmer weather/track days...

She has a cat replacement pipe and Hurricane induction kit and I thought the next change ought to be a re-mapped ECU but I can't find anyone who can assist. Is this a problem faced by other Elise/Exige owners?

you wont gain anything just with those mods....you dont need a new ECU until you get to around 160bhp ...so you needs some hotter cams and a ported head before then....then its worth fitting a new ECU, throttle bodies and maybe forged pistons to get to 180bhp ....have a look on www.dvapower.co.uk...Emerald ECU is what you want, but its not cheap buy the time youve bought the loom adapter for the S2 and got it mapped...about £800-900

just go for a DVA155 kit or suchlike........
