Lotus-Running in

Just picked up my first lotus sports racer,have been reading the manual and will obvously take heed on the running in. Is there any further running in advise that can be offered and is it beneficial to high rev it now and again during this period?

Oh and the cars just the Dogs.

just follow the instructions in the manual....I would stick to that until the last few hundred miles -the occasional foray into the higher rev range wont harm it...just make sure the engine is warm - thats not when the temp guage on the dash is up to 80 though...thats just the water....the oil takes another 10-15 mins to come up to temp.
