Approved Car Warranties

I just had a very nasty shock. Bought an Esprit Sport 350 last year from PSSC, sold as having a full warranty - well, it's a Lotus franchise and you'd expect that. When I took it in for some gearbox work, their version of a full warranty is a 1/3 contribution - unlike B&C, Wilsons and so on. Oof, unexpected outlay etc etc.

Stupid of me not to ask for the exact details before I bought it, and extra stupid to beleive that all franchises operate wirhin the same set of rules for 'approved cars'. Very much not the case Lotus HO inform me...
