Hi,

here's a site of a swedisch compagny that developped a nice supercar. It has the looks, the power, the speed, the technologie...Sadly it isn't a lotus, it would have been nice to replace the Esprit or M250...

Put some thought into what you just stated: "What lotus should have developed" - well, about that...

1.) That car doesn't have anything about it that would make anyone think it was a Lotus unless that person was completely clueless about the brand.

2.) How would Lotus have developed it if they didn't have the idea to develop it? You could also use this rather generic rambling to say "What Lamborghini should have developed", "What Ferrari should have developed", etc, etc, etc... Regardless of what brand you apply it to, it makes no sense at all.

With both of these things said, your post seems to me like either incoherent rambling from someone who doesn't know a whole lot about lotus, or spam to promote the car on that site. Either way, not something that belongs on this forum, IMO.

Quote from said webpage:

'Officially unveiled at the Paris Auto Show 2000, the Koenigsegg CC has taken the world by storm'.

Where the hell is it???? Has anyone heard of this car in the last 2 years??? Having said that looks a fine car - but so did the DeLorean!! - words 'touch' and 'bargepole' spring to mind.

Fast exotic cars not what Sweden famous for, fast exotic women hmmm well maybe

Evo mag did a write up of it's testing (they drove it in the snow I seem to remember) some months ago - so yes - I had heard of it.

Still - £300k for a RHD one doesn't sound that compelling when you look at it stats - I'd much rather have a Pagani if I had that much dosh!

Haha,
just the comments I supposed to receive. Well Mike, I never said it was a Lotus ! I bed you never heard of Koenigsegg before either. But I thought it was worthed to show it to lotus enthousiast, as there are a lot of them waiting for something new coming up from lotus. So if you see what a new small compagny with 20-25 employees is capable to build, why shoudn't Lotus ??
Concerning Lotus knowledge...well, I know Lotus for over 20 years and I drive an elise, and if,if you in the US are lucky, you can by one in 2004...
