Lotus Excel mystery warning light
Discussion
On my Lotus Excel ('90 Excel SE, so later dash) I have this warning light:

Not sure what it is suppose to tell me, I don't think I've ever seen it light up (Google AI reckons it's a laundry instruction meaning "do not wring dry"
)
The owners manual skips past it and pretends it doesn't exist.
There's no evidence of it in the workshop manual either.
There is a bulb, and wiring. Green is the general power supply to all gauges/lights behind the dash. The other wire is White+Orange. Again, no sign of a wire of this colour in the wiring diagrams. Also no sign of a stray unconnected wire of this colour in the engine bay, at least not after a cursory search. It must go somewhere, but I'm not prepared to dismantle the entire wiring loom to find out.
