Anyone help? Sure i'm on the right site ....
I am looking at seiies 1 111s models.
After reading up a bit I believe they are the wc Engine(136bhp) with close ratio box, headlight covers, spoiler,Different wheels?
Problem is I can view from various sites cars for sale that dont have headlight covers or spoiler(you know .. bits you notice) but they are called 111s.
Is this TRUE or are dealers advertising something that really isnt whats stated..
Would be grateful of any input from owners or boffins on the real 111s spec.
Thanks

Take a look at www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?t=194804&f=15&h=0&hw=111S+genuine

(From Mustard's reply in a thread in the Elise section).

The S1 is designated as model 111 and the 's' suffix was added for the more powerful version.
The standard S1 has the 118 bhp K-series, whereas the 111S has the 143 bhp VVC version of the engine.
