Hi,

Through MLOC, I have organised a mini ride out, this coming Sunday (30th Jan 2022), but then just thought, I should post on pistonheads as well, so here goes. Let me know if anyone is interested in joining.

So, confirmed details, unless the weather is sodding awful:

1. Date : Sunday 30th Jan 2022

2. Meet at the White Lion pub, 23 Main St, Rempstone, Loughborough, LE12 6RH

3. Time 10.30am

4. Destination : The Embassy Car Park, Tower Esplanade, Skegness, PE25 2UQ

5. Aim to arrive there around 1pm.

6. Walk on the beach (am taking my dog), sausage and chips on the seafront (bring a warm jacket), then drive home is my plan.

There are 3 cars planning to meet us at Skeggie who are not from the Midlands (from Norfolk way)

So far, from the Midlands, we have Ceejay, maxj0 and myself.

My mobile is 07702723591

Route from Rempstone to Skegness : well to be honest I don't know. Being advised to avoid the A52 as busy and boring.

I was thinking, Rempstone to Belvoir Castle (chance for a cuppa there in the main car park cafe), then onto Sleaford, Tattershall, Partney, then the A158 into Skegness. However, I don't know this area at all, so am open to any other suggestions for routes.

Cheers, Jase

Ah, only just seen this! Would certainly be up for it if you do it again in the future? Hope you all had a good time?

We met another 3 lotus cars in Skegness.

Wish I had seen this also. I'm in Lincoln and would have met you there. Will look out for the next one.
