No, even though I placed my deposit relatively early compared to some (7th July).

I've reserved a public place just in case.

I did get the other email about soon being able to configure one and get a call from dealer so I'm on their list somewhere though.

Some reason they don't know my name though and keep addressing me Mr,

I hope they've prioritised people with deposits down and not let any down in favour of non-buyers.

Surely spaces can't be so limited that anyone who's paid their £2k can't get in?

I responded within 10 minutes of the email but no response yet to confirm booking.

I don’t have a deposit down yet, after my Taycan experience I want to see a real car before jumping in - definitely a real buyer though if it passes a first look.

In retrospect it might have been better to put your deposit down as you are now going to be a long way down the list!

Probably true, but there are other options to keep me happy while I wait for it. I really want a manual i4 anyway so that’s a while out.

i4 = DCT
