Lotus dealerships

During JMG's term there was an increase in the number of dealerships, certainly in the UK. This seemed a logical and welcome idea. In recent months, Lotus' own website looks rather thinner on dealerships in the UK. Yet, when I view the websites of several formerly well-known dealerships they continue to claim the Lotus franchise. Am I missing something?
