Hi,
Been trying to get my hands on an Elise now for getting on for a year, all these lockdowns not helping!
After plenty of research I’m set on an R from 2006 on, so has probax seats, new peddle box and face lift interior etc. Ideally not more than 50,000 miles on the clock and everything as original as possible.
Problem is, and I know they are rare, just can’t seem to find one that’s available to buy. Watch for ads on here, and autotrader, eBay etc every day but anything that comes up seems to sell in an instant! Think part of the trouble is there are couple of well know specialist traders who seem to snap stuff up and sell on for a few grand profit.
I’m keen to buy and have cash ready to make purchase, would though want to get an independent inspection on any car before buying.
So if you have a car I might be interested in buying and are looking at selling, or know someone who is, please let me know.

You could try a wanted post on Seloc, though the same specialists have wanted posts.

Other place is FB groups. Either a wanted post or a post you can pick up on. I saw a post from a guy debating selling his Elise S3, I PM’d him, long story short I bought his car.
