elan twin cam cooling fan

Have just realised my cooling fan motor no longer works on my 1970 Elan.
Has anyone else had this problem and how did they resolve it?

If you have an aftermarket Kenlowe fitted (very popular back then) I would expect you should still be able to get replacement parts.

I replaced mine with an Ebay special, just one of the standard slim cooling fans you can get these days. I had to make up my own framework but it's hardly a major project, just some aluminium section cut & bolted to suit. Since this photo was taken I've moved it slightly sideways to get easier access to the bonnet spring. Lots of room for that, the modern ones are much slimmer than the old Kenlowe.

That's a very early looking rad. Is it an S3 Elan ?
