Elise SC no alarm sound

Just got a 2010 Elise SC and today I tried setting the alarm off, the hazard lights flash but that's it , I googled the problem but found nothing other than the odd person asking the same question. It does the same with the panic button, no sound ! Any one got any ideas ? I will ask the garage if they know tomorrow as it's from a Lotus main dealer but I hoped it might be an easy fix , cheers

Just had a similar thing on my evora, bizarrely the horn fuse had blown and once replaced the alarm is fine.

Thanks Gav, I don't think its that as the horn works perfectly! It's going back to the supply dealer as the heater is stuck on permanent warm too , sure they will fix it
