Lotus Elan M100 S2
Discussion
Hi,
I've recently purchased a very nice condition Lotus Elan M100 S2 however I'm a few things missing:-
Workshop manual
Penknife from the boot toolkit
I have contacted a couple of Lotus dealers all of who advise me that the complete toolkit used to be around about the £70.00 incl VAT, but this item was discontinued just over a year ago. I have however managed to find after a lot of phoning around different dealers the tool box and everything inside with the exception of the knife.
With regards to the workshop manual, I do remember reading on the web a long time ago that one of the best manuals available was actually sold on CD Rom by an enthusiast. Does anybody know where I can obtain either of these items?
I hope to hear from some of you.
Regards,
Graham.

The workshop manual is readily available on the net.
Head on over to www.lotuselancentral.com and you should find it.

M100 & JohnRB,
Thank you both for replying.
I must admit, having never seen a toolkit for these cars, I am only at the mercy of what the Lotus dealer that I last spoke with told me and of course even they can make mistakes I guess
I am at present waiting for the complete/in-complete toolkit to arrive. Obviously the knife is not a part of it from what you've mentioned and that is good news to me, as I want to keep the car as original as possible.
Thanks also for the link to the site with the manual - much appreciated.
All the best, and I hope to catch you both elsewhere on the forums.

Graham.
