Book soon, tickets are selling fast!

I've not exactly booked yet as the payment thingy (computer literate, ME?) won't work, but I will be there, as long as the tickets haven't sold out by the time I get a handle on this infernal machine! So there will be at least one "decent" vehicle in the car park

Hear hear to that. Should have a load of Tivs, a decent selection of Porkers and some Ferrari mob. Lets keep up the British end please!

I'll be there too! Can't wait, I think it'll be a blast.
People coming from London/South East; watch for forward facing speed cameras on your way up there. They get you before you realise!
Is there going to be a pistonheads meeting point or tent??
All the best chaps.

Being a total Ludite, I didn't manage to sort the on line booking out, but Ted should recieve the cheque this morning, tomorow at the latest, so I am assuming I've now booked. As stated elsewhere on this site, does anyone know if the Swindon Marriot have decent & secure car parking facilities?

I've been there before with a bunch of TVRs and we had no trouble. The car park is round the back out of sight.

I'll be popping in there in a couple of weeks. I'll check out whether the car park is monitored overnight.

Being very much in the Luddite camp I gave up after the 3rd attempt of booking on line, more a reflection of my company's IT privacy policy than probs with the booking system.

Sorry to distrub your breakfast Ted, cheque on its way and hotel booked having convinced the wife that she will not be in the minority and bribed her with a new dress!

Any chance of a Lotus table so we can throw buns at the TVR lot!

Cheers

When I spoke to the hotel about 20 mins ago they confirmed CCTV and that the CP was patrolled, she seemed to be aware that there would be a substantial amount of expensive hard ware arriving for that w/e.

Hi ,
I would be happy to bring my new Lotus Elan with me to the Black Tie and Pie , however i have to get my other half to agree, but i think he wants us to go up in his TVR.
I will have to use my womanly charm to persuade him !

Bring the Lotus!
G'wan g'wan g'wan...

This is an evening of car enthusiasts so you should both bring your own cars. Besides, one car won't have enough luggage space for both of you will it?

Hope you're enjoying your new car!

Well babes, if you are prepared to work your womanly charm on me once or even twice a night from now until Nov 2nd then I may be persuaded to come in the Elan rather than the Chimaera.

EDIT: That's womanly charm, not emotional blackmail!
