Hi all
A friend of mine has an 89 Excel, which has developed a small electrical problem.
As soon as the engine runs the cooling fans come on and stay on regardless of engine temp. With the ignition on pos II (batt lights) the fans do not run.
I'm guessing that there is a relay somewhere which receives an engine running signal, and then the main coolant temp switch closes the relay contact to bring on the fans. But i'm running in the dark here and it's hardly the weather for pulling the car apart and tracing cables back through the car.
Anyone got any knowlege or info on this area of the excel or the esprit?
